The problem is that housing millions in neighbouring countries is only a short term solution. They cannot get jobs and live a life in the migrant camps. The reason people head for EU is that long term they are able to get a job and work to earn their keep.

These migrants are refugees and also human beings, I don't believe that I am superior because I was born here and if I was born elsewhere why shouldn't I have the same right to work hard in school, go to another country to study and work In a well paid job?

Infrastructure being insufficient is a scapegoat for underspending in recent years on houses and other infrastructure.

When bastards like Rupert Murdoch control the media, the bullshit propaganda turns people into little englanders.

That's all very well and good, but the majority of these immigrants can only speak Arabic - how many jobs are they going to apply for?

The poison lurking in the Middle East (and everywhere else within every country on the planet) is the biggest threat we have to every one of us via direct or indirect methods. I'm sure these people only want peace and quiet so send them to the wide empty spaces of South America. We can help pay for housing to be built there.

Every NATO member country should carry out airstikes 24x7 for as long as it takes, and blow the **** out of Syria, Libya, Algeria and every other fly blown **** hole until nothing remains.

IS seem to have already started the work by blowing up irreplaceable ancient sites and treasures so let's finish the job.

Then we can start on Somalia and root out Boko Haram from West Africa if necessary. Do we want to try and be safe in the world for our children and countless generations to come or not ? Why did Turkey detain that woman and her 4 kids en route to Syria last week at our insistence ? Let them go to Syria and good riddance to them, and to anyone else with a sick enough mind to believe they are doing it for martyrdom or whatever warped reasoning has been ground into their tiny minds.

You've contradicted yourself a bit here, you want a well paid job but you've slated a man who's got one.

What the **** any of this has this got to do with Rupert Murdoch I don't know, but you don't like him as you're constantly bleating on about him and sky etc.He offers a service which is the publics choice whether they choose to pay for it, no ones holding a gun to your head.

Back to the real issue

Schooling, extra infrastructure who is paying for it? You're not old enough yet to pay taxes but when you are, you might see the world through real eyes.

Schools are over crowded at the moment, so there is a real need already to build more. And this is before we take more people into the country.

Housing we've already got a huge waiting list for homeless people, some ex military who defended this country are being turned away. Put more strain on this list will cause havoc, as people will turn to crime to pay for their way. Which in turns fills the police time, the prisons get over loaded so this also needs paying as well.

So now we've added up a little what it would take, would you be willing to double your taxes to help pay for this?
And trust me for every £ I earn I probably lucky after taxes council taxes etc to see 0.40p

Baring in mind there could be as many as 100,000 waiting in Calais alone this would cost an absolute fortune. What is the reason they have changed direction and are heading for Germany? Is it because Germany are fast tracking them to receive EU passports?
Guess where they will head when they get one - and we will have to give them as much right as the Poles etc to come here and receive all our entitlements .
Merkel has played a blinder by acting the saint saying they will take the majority of them knowing full well they will head here with an EU passport and free movement.
Ask yourself why 2 million Poles/Romanians are in the UK when they border Germany - probably something to do with the fact that you have to reside in Germany for 2 years before you can attempt to claim any kind of benefit!!

There is absolutely no question of fast track German citizenship here. Becoming German has always been relatively difficult compared to other European nations and will certainly remain that way. Also, benefits in Germany are payable to EU citizens from the day of arrival there - and to others as soon as they have payed into the system. The problem which Germany faces is that up to now only 25% of applications for refugee status have been actually successfull here - amongst those who are arriving in Germany now there are sizeable numbers from Serbia, Kosovo and Albania putting in claims - which will all take up to 2 months to process (and possibly an extra 2 months if an appeal is made against the decision). All of those from Balkan countries will be sent back eventually, but it will take time.

Having spent the last 8 winters escaping the Canadian winter in the Canary Islands I heard rant after rant from our English friends on the island, and never stopped hearing their complaints about how England lets everyone else, but it's citizens, run the country.

The old saying that it's just not cricket doesn't cut it anymore and until the people unite and say we are not going to be the whipping boys of Europe, or anyone else for that matter, and we will certainly not accept the dregs that our continental cousins want to ship here to sink the island through overcrowding and dissent.

In a perfect world (yeah right) the refugees who are lining up at Europe's doorway would start the process of rehabilitating their birth country by building on the faith put in them by the countries who accept them and telling the rest of the troubled nations that their way is best for all mankind - but don't hold your collective breaths.

You seem to have a blasé attitude to spending other peoples money, just continuing to throw money at the NHS won't take it out of crisis, you state the management structure is appalling, I quite agree, a structure largely left wing based who's answer to everything is more money !.. (theres a common theme developing?) the morally correct amount? Is 50% of your income the morally correct amount??

Its ok though believe it or not the likes of Me, Rod, Redprintt and Angelic would have all grown up with this left wing bias too, its easy to be morally superior when its not coming out of your bank account, you tend to grow out of it though as you get older and have a guts-full of shirkers just taking the piss and giving nothing back in return.

My biggest concern is what we are leaving our kids to deal with.
I pay 40% tax,but do i want it to go to people that are freeloaders,people that are here for the easy ride like hell i do.
I have always voted tory but DC has a lot to answer regards his pathetic responce to this issue.
