Real just have to wait a year and they get a keeper for free.
It's kind if weird Utd doing this play to try and make themselves look good, yet are spending nearly £60m on Martial.
Not just any keeper at that. World class and just 24. They may look silly now but it will have no affect on them whatsoever. Come next season they'll be laughing.
It suggests that a few clubs are playing follow the leader. In the last couple of seasons there have been a few cases of highly publicised players wanting out of their clubs and not getting their way until the club decides it is right for all parties.
Yeah but clearly they'd rather pay the money and have him this year. I have no idea how good Casilla is but I doubt Real were planning to go into this season with him as first choice.
Of course if De Gea believes the story that Man Utd delayed the paperwork deliberately and refuses to play for them again that changes things.
Mind you, if it doesn't happen, perhaps De Gea should throw the game, Grobelaar style, against us 
Now if I was De Gea, I'd be getting a lawyer to look closely at this. I'm no employment law expert and their contracts fm differ hugely to normal employment contracts, but if there is any sign of a United playing silly buggers, I'd wonder if he had some sort of case to push for nullification of his contract? No idea on that but just a thought.
I think it's actually brilliant from United. We should do the same to Spurs with any player they try and buy. Bodge the deal so they're left with a hole in the squad!
