This rumoured goalkeeper seems like a totally random punt with little to no scouting involved. Win over by the fact his team play in the Europa League. I don't know the fees involved but even if it's 500k surely it makes more sense to pay £1.5m more for Bentley. Whose first language is English, understands the English pyramid football system. He could end up getting sold in for 5m-20m in years to come he he fufils the hype. Even if he half fufils his hype then he'd still be better than most of not every keeper we have ever had. For some reason we as a club struggle to ever have a half decent striker or a half decent keeper.
Its bizarre isnt it.. Player sales have brought in over £20 million... but we cant pay £2m for a keeper that we've needed for years..

The fact that Bentley is British is a big factor for me, we should be aiming to have as many Brits as possible, plus as someone mentioned, the language factor.
