Les really needs to get this deal rushed through to lift spirits a bit. also unveiling Charlie Austin before kick off on sunday wouldn't hurt.
Do those who want Charlie Austin still want him after the doubt cast over his leg by David Gold? Surely Gold can't just make that up - Austin could take him to the cleaners, legally, if it had no basis in truth, for loss of earnings etc.
Interesting question, but I wouldn't believe either Gold or Sullivan if they told me today was Friday.

The doubt was cast by Hull when he failed their medical. He has a knee problem, but he scored 18 Premier league goals last season. It's a quandary for sure. Is he what we need right now? I am not sure - we'd still need someone to create (someone will tell me Pelle's knock downs).

If it was all sorted out already, Virgil wouldn't still be up there....he would be here or sorting things out at home.

*whispers very quietly* I've never been convinced he'd be right for us. Based on nothing substantial. And more than likely I'm wrong.
Celtic manager just repeated that they don't have to sell, then added that Virgil is ambitious, but unless things are sorted out he remains a Celtic player.
