Maybe this is a cunning plan to increase our Polish supporter base...Well, Hull Tigers didn't work so well. Let's try phase 2.

Quite a few ex City keepers in there, Hesford, Glennon even the Jak got a goal! Obviously Fettis is there, off the top of my head, I recall away at Blackpool & home to Oxford, is that right? I remember being in the South Stand when he scored though, our Pepis era!

I thought he was a Pole...Ah well, attracting polish supporters will work as well as Hull Tigers attracting fans in Asia!

Kuciak has conceded 290 goals in 352 professional games keeping 154 clean sheets in the process. Fairly impressive record

I'd still prefer Daniel Bentley. Okay, £2 million is very expensive for a League 1 keeper but he's young, big, a great shot-stopper, very vocal and commands his box well. If he joins a Championship side and gets them promoted, he could very well be in the England team in the near future. I don't know much about Kuciak though but I get the feeling missing out on Bentley will be a huge regret.

I'd rather have Bentley too. Just in terms of potential and potential sell on. As he is tipped for a bright future. Kuciak must be better than current options.

He probably is; I don't know much about him. My only worry is that he is 'prone to mistakes at times' as we have two keepers already in that category. If he's an improvement I'll be thrilled.

He can save long shots according to that video so he's already an improvement on McGregor.

He's 6ft 4 which is promising. McGregor is too short really, and it shows in how often he is beaten from distance and on free kicks.

I'm a GK myself and although I've never seen him play from the highlights he seems to get down low very quickly which is obviously good for getting down to low shots, although it does look like he commits quite early. He seems to be keen to rush out as well, looks like he is strong in 1-on-1 situations. After a couple of saves on the videos he jumps up and looks to release the LB which could be good with our attacking full backs, that's another area McGregor is fairly weak, he always looks to slow things down. One issue with the highlights is that a couple of his saves are pushed back into dangerous areas. It's all well and good stopping a shot but you need to think about the next phase, some shots should have been tipped over the bar instead of straight back to the opposition.

As I said I haven't seen him play so not sure how accurate all that is, just my judgement from the limited videos available. To be honest with McGregor and Jakupovic both devoid of confidence and making far too many mistakes it wouldn't be difficult to be better than those two on current form.

    Just searched his name and google translated a couple of tweets. This one;

@Upierdliwiec: Ale jakby nie patrzeć to kto teraz będzie dupę ratował naszym kulawym obrońcom? Przecież Kuciak to 80% naszej defensywy.

Basically says (I think) "who will save the asses of our **** defenders, after all he is 80% of our defence"

West Ham back in for Nikica Jelavic

West Ham United are hoping to conclude a deal to sign Hull City forward Nikica Jelavic ahead of the transfer window deadline.

The 30-year-old Croatian was relegated from the Premier League with Hull City last year just 12 months after joining the Tigers on a three-and-a-half year contract from Everton.

However West Ham, who have seen recent moves for Burak Yilmaz, Charlie Austin and Raul Jiminez come to nothing - whilst talk of Alessandro Matri arriving in east London imminently appear to be wide of the mark - are poised to bring him back to the top flight.

West Ham are understood to be trying to sign Jelavic on a permanent basis - as is the case with Chlsea's Victor Moses, who the club retain a strong interest in despite having seen previous advances rejected.

According to a KUMB source, West Ham have offered circa £6million for the 24-year-old wide man who is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge. However Chelsea are reported to be holding out for around £10million for the Nigerian international.

Don't know how much we have bid or if we have bid for this keeper but I think we are idiots if we pass up the opportunity of signing Bentley.

A young keeper, highly rated and tipped to make it to the top. Potential for a massive seek on fee if he makes it and £2m is hardly a risky price tag when we have signed duds like Proch and Sagbo.

After watching the video I was impressed just how quickly after a save he's back on his feet, looks tremendous.

EDIT: To be fair I'd rather Deano back in goal than McG

Is this new goalie a real rumor or just a name we are tossing out? He isn't on the first page.
