Guan 2.0 on Saintsweb has said that the crowd's reaction on Sunday will depend on whether a new player or not is revealed.
What, will be hostile if we haven't unveiled someone? Or will be mental (in a good way) because of who we might reveal?

It was a reply to a silly thread on Saintsweb about if the players should be booed before the game. The guy is very ITK though. As DTLW hints above, it's probably Virgil. What, will be hostile if we haven't unveiled someone? Or will be mental (in a good way) because of who we might reveal?

Does that mean it's a player who the crowd could have an adverse reaction to?Guan 2.0 on Saintsweb has said that the crowd's reaction on Sunday will depend on whether a new player or not is revealed.

Guan is random with a lot of stuff he says tbh. That sounds like nonsense, ITK or not.

He doesn't mean that the club will reveal the player depending on the crowd/atmosphere haha. That sounds like nonsense, ITK or not. Hardly think the club are going to think "you're being meanies so we won't show your our new toy".
Would make far more sense to reveal him before game to bring some positivity in.

We still have clasie and Bertrand to return. Neither have featured in the league this season. But even so, I'd probably agree that one more is needed. We need more than just Virgil.
I know VVD is primarily a CB, but I hope we put him in defensive midfield, as I am still of the opinion that most of our problems stem from the middle of the park.
And I am most definitely still of the opinion that we are crying out for a "proper" attacking midfielder to compliment whoever we play as defensive midfielders.
At the moment we have Davis continually playing out of position, but we still need better than him when he is played as attacking midfielder.
It will be interesting if we're on the wrong side of the result Sunday
How do they want the "paying" crowd to react?
Is it the results that are frustrating or mearly the performances?

I'm starting to believe we are the new West Ham. I'm certain that our fans will not put up with hoof-ball and aimless thumps upfield hoping Pelle can turn them into gold, regardless of the result.
