    Get Nolan in.

Released from west ham, getting on now but would be a great signing for us, hard slightly dirty bastard in middle of our midfield just the job.
Suspect another prem club like Norwich would take him

I'm told Hernandez wants out, Jelavic wants to stay and Maloney will be unveiled sometime in the next 4 days. Small issues to iron out.

Released from West Ham. We should definitely be looking at getting him in on a FAT.

£2M would appear a decent price when you consider that it would probably eradicate the stench of piss and manure from the KC.

I'm happy for Hernandez to stay. I know he misses some easy chances but then again a lot of strikers do. It's up to the team to give him even more opportunities.

I'd like Jelavic to stay. I think he only wants out because of the lack of chances to score he gets - as well as the money!
I don't agree with this "not trying" accusations against certain players. I think Huddlestone could do better but surely he must be under orders to always pass to the back three/four.

Agreed. They're professionals and they earn a **** load of money for doing their job. If they genuinely didn't try, for a start even Steve Bruce wouldn't put them in the team, and any hopes of moving elsewhere would be pissed down the pan. Who in their right mind would spend the obscene amounts of monies that footballers cost in terms of fee's and wages for someone who might turn round at some point and decide he can't be arsed anymore?

It's just one of those bullshit football cliches.

I'm not holding my breath on Huddlestone being moved on, even Peter Swan's recognised the fact that he needs dropping, it must now be thought pretty universally.

Huddlestone: Couldn't he do some fantastic passes to strikers and midfielder running towards the opponents goal? It never happens. Is that because there's nobody making the runs and/or the team have been told to use the wings?

I'm pretty sure that Hernandez would love it if he did, along with Luer who scored his goal from a lovely through ball. But is he capable? I can't say that I've really ever seen that in his game.

As you say the team are probably directed to play down the wings, and the only striker that we have that would remotely benefit from that is Jela. As far as making the runs are concerned Hernadez, and eventually Luer, won't bother as its so rare for a through ball to be played.

Hopefully the return of Diame and the capture of Mahoney will solve this issue, and if it does, and Luer continues to be given his chance - doubtful but I live in hope - I think that we could, quite unbelievably, have a couple of goal scoring strikers this season.

I cannot stand Kevin Nolan. He's the worst type of footballer for your team to play against. Fake Hardman you know your little sister would give a good slap, but still intimidates everyone in your starting 11, limited footballing ability bit does the basics brilliantly, screams bloody murder at anyone who doesn't put 100% in...... The mans a pure blood ****. And exactly what we need

One really damning stat, Bruce hasn't signed a single player for us who's got into double figures...

    12/13- Koren 9
    13/14- Fryatt 6
    14/15- Jelavic 8

£3m for Forestieri seems a reasonable punt. Maybe a double punt with Vydra as well.

If we could get both for less than Andre Gray then I would say that is a great deal.

I think that was to allow him to say farewell to the fans. I think he was subbed at half time?

He'd be a great signing if we could get him.

Didn't Pearson sign Fryatt and Koren?

Bruce's problem is he doesn't know how to get teams to attack. I have said it before, but he needs to hire an attacking coach to work alongside him.
