Mate, footballers wives want Selfridges not Miss Selfridge. It's all about you designer boutiques and top end department stores. Do you know Harvey Nicks have doormen in top hats and black tie just to open the door for you on the way in? The Metro Centre has overweight security guards eyeing you up at the shop entrance as a welcome. Shopping in the northeast is ****.

The half hour on the plane is wrapped around by two to three hours of boarding and departures too.

    Ha this! <laugh>

It's all relevant. The club would really have to put their hands in their pocket to make all the inconvenience worth it.

The shops in the Metro are appalling like, there's nothing other than run of the mill shops, one half decent menswear place with limited stock, and one decent department store in Frasers.

    Rest is dog ****.

Even the new dining, a massive part of keeping people in the centre and thus attracting higher calibre retailers, is better but still poor.

I prefer Newcastle City Centre to the Metro all day long. The Centre is ****. Mostly I find myself visiting the Darlington Van Mildert and Scotts for nothing more than inspiration then buy online cheaper and from a much larger range.

Take my lass, She's collecting the Richard Nicole-Fred Perry Collaboration range. They don't sell that in the north east, she gets it online because it's cheaper than travailing to London or Manchester and paying full price. But she never got the chance to pick off the rail and enjoy the full shopping experience though, and that's what women want. I we were loaded you wouldn't see us from dust.

Simple solution: Ellis Short should invest in a range of boutique designer shops, a Harvey Nic's and a Selfridges and build a posh Sushi bar, job done <ok>

to be fair I haven't been up to the metro centre in years as I live in Farnborough, half an hour away from London by train.
When I do get home though my misses loves Eldon Square so we go shopping there.
Back up early Oct so have to save some spendies for shopping then.

Eldon is so much better then the Metro, when you leave Eldon there's more than just an Ikea outside. <laugh>

Me, @Teessidemakem and @bonnybobbypark went there for the League cup final. I got there late and missed the meal but they said it was very nice.

Haha, therein lies the problem, not enough tables.

Love Sushi me, I'd eat it every day if I could.
