    Re Ron - I wouldn't get downhearted. Even though he said one, there's always a possibility of more, and then there's loans....

    Yeah i had heard that, i'm pretty sure Les is up to the challenge, i think its in our interest to get a deal sorted before the transfer window reopens in Jan because if this season doesn't go according to plan and we are struggling then Vic will be after jumping ship.

    Just a thought with the amount of money that the top teams spend each year and the percentage of players that actually turn out to be pretty crap would it not be wiser for the likes of Utd Chelsea or City to just offer £2-300 million for Ronaldo or Messi and pay them 500k a week. At least then they know they are buying a player that will score 20 goals a season create another 20 and sell a lot of shirts.

    I don't see it happening this window anyway, unless a ridiculous bid comes in (as flt says)
