There is no denying he is a good player. There is no denying his potential. But I think there is no denying that he is currently incredibly overrated and the figures bandied around are ridiculous. His reputation has come largely from the season that has just gone. The fees mentioned make the Sterling deal look like a bargain. At least Sterling has proved something at a higher level with a higher caliber of player and in the England set up. Not to mention he is an attacking player which always commands a higher premium.
