Me too. We'd only have Wanyama and Romeu as proper DMs. Considering we generally play/should play with two DMs that certainly doesn't leave us with a lot to work with!
Or all the time. Wanyama and VVD in midfield would destroy a lot of opposition cms.
I can see Clasie playing ahead of the dms. If Clasie played as a dm against a good team our midfield would be the same as against Everton.

With Romeu,Davis Prowse and if needed Koulibaly as back up. It's why I would love them both signing.
Yeah I agree but he's an option if needed. If we sign VVD we can send Reed out on loan without leaving us short.
CB partnerships are important. When you have continuity in a back 4 is when you tend to conceed less goals. It's useful that VVD can play DM if need be, but if we are taking him out of our defence to do this then we would be just weakening our defence. However if we were to sign Koulibaly and VVD, with Koulibaly alongside Fonte and VVD alongside Big Vic then we look pretty solid again, with Romeu a good option. Then I'd be happy with Reed going out on loan.
