You say we need to get back to the prem to service the loan why?,maybe Allam now has other plans and as for being straddled with the loan where would we have been without it?.

Maybe if he was not treated like a **** he might have been more forthcoming.

Maybe if he hadn't acted like a ****, he wouldn't have been treated like one.

In fact, he wouldn't.

I got it through from a Bury fan. I assume he copied and pasted it from somewhere else. That or he is winding me up. I suspect the latter.

If we sign him I would think we were almost certainties for promotion. The goals he brings to the team would be enough to cover for McGregor mistakes. He's scored two in a poor Brentford side already, and had a hand in the other three on the weekend. If we get promoted on the back of that he pays for himself with the new TV deal coming in. No idea why we're being so stupid.

Since we made good money on Chester and Brady, surely we should be trying to hijack this deal? It's the most important area we were lacking and this guy is the real deal.

Madness not to

I think we will. We'll definitely get a striker; I think the fact that we were so close to Gray it's made any other target seem more disappointing.

The Championship will simply not cover the financial outlay he has incurred on our behalf.

Being in the Championship will hardly service our lordships master marketing plan of making us massive in Kathmandu.

Yeah, can't really fathom why the Allam's wouldn't sanction a hijack, apart from distrusting Bruce when it comes to spending big on strikers. This guy isn't an unknown though, he's prolific and has started the season on fire.

The less he spends now means whatever he decides from here in will mean he lessons his losses,he may also be thinking to himself **** it i am not worried now if we go up or not,to which he will think buy your own ****ing strikers if you want them.

Just saying like.

Not really. We have a drastically lower revenue base, which means that our high expenses will actually magnify his losses. Either he starts a fire sale which basically means admitting to himself he'll never get much money back, or he goes all out for the PL this year. Each year that passes decreases our chances of getting back up with any sort of decent squad.

I hope you're right, but can't think of anyone in the championship that will supply and score as many as Gray for 8m? They'll be close but no cigars

Only Rhodes and Austin IMO are possibly better but will be 4m more

He knows the English style of play, he's early twenties. His performances have improved year on year. I can see his value doubling/trebling if he continues on the same trajectory - no reason to think he won't.

Austin will go for 15m, so that's almost double what Brentford are asking for Gray.

He has probably made his losses back in other ways apart from football,i really do believe he does not care anymore especially since the first stone was thrown.

Absolutely. I just really don't understand it. Gray is as close to a sure thing as you can get when buying strikers.

Not sure what you mean. If you mean in his private business, then he's not channeling those profits into the club - and if he were that would mean increasing the size of the loan, i.e. the debt.
