Tom Bradshaw at Walsall has started the season like a house on fire, 15 goals in League 1 last season and (sigh) 'only 23'. There'll be a few scouts watching him no doubt.

Bit gutted at the thought of losing out on Gray.. Its not easy to find a striker who's young, English and proven at this level who wants to come to play for us.

Not only was he in great form last season, plus the season before that... he's started this season with 2 goals in 2 games..

Last week it sounded like we we're really close... now it sounds like its no longer happening.

We should put in a cheeky bid for Rhodes. With zero goals out of 2 games, his value must be plummeting.

Be interesting to see if Huddlestone features tomorrow a couple of papers got West Ham closing in now. Surely we will get our money back if he goes....

Purely depends who we replace him with..

How many goals does Thudd get per season, how many assists? is he the most combative midfielder, does he win many tackles or headers?

From what i saw last season, he was well below average and other than losing a bit of weight, there's nothing to say he'll be much better this season.

If we get our money back and can bring in a decent replacement, id be happy.

Jela isn't interested and I'm surprised anyone would take him and his glass knees. Imperative that we replace Thudd if we are to lose him - wonder if that's really why we are after Maloney? Oh and Diame is just a week away!

We had the last offer rejected over a week ago, we haven't made another one, ergo there's no negotiating going on.

But he was injured too, I'd much rather keep him as I don't think we'll get better

looks like we are going to lose Huddlestone and Jelevic. We are ****ed.

No no jelavic hasn't looked interested and the chances we'll get a decent run of games before he's injured again are high so he's no loss.
I'm thudds biggest critic, he was awfull last season and to be honest he was ok against Huddersfield once the game opened up and he got a bit of space but I don't remember him causing Huddersfield many problems. I think he slows us down aswell, so providing we get a decent price for him it'd be a decent move for both parties as long as we buy another midfielder ie Lansbury

For Tom to go, the release clause must be in excess of what we paid for him. Hopefully £6m+ and with the hefty wages off the books it should free up some funds. SB is exceptional at this level so I'm not overly worried if we lose anyone really.
