Whilst I’m a critic of the board, in fairness, we don’t know the real details here and I’d always prefer them to negotiate the most favourable terms for the club – even if that means a protracted semi-public haggle.
It's fairly clear that Gray wants the move, just as Odubajo did. I don't understand when fans say the club's a mess. The business we've done appears to be very good so far. Clucas looks like a very good bit of business, as does Chuba & Hayden. We've also got Odubajo for below market value really. Negotiations just take time, but I'd rather they took time to get the best possible deal than just throwing money at it. Our bargaining position in the Gray deal is becoming stronger by the day too with the lad not feeling mentally ready to play. This is why I prefer that as fans we don't hear about it. People just start panicking over pretty much nothing.
Apparently, Torino have accused us of jerking them around and have withdrawn their interest in Hernandez... please log in to view this image
Don't you just hate it when the buying club don't just agree to all the arrangements suggested by the selling club.
I'd hate it more if we miss out on the only deal that looked like it would get us out from under with Hernandez.
Whereas I would agree I think we are now stuck with Hernandez so where do we go with him? It's a pity Bruce can't stick a Roman Candle up his @rse and tell him to get out there and show us what he can do or he'll stop his wages. N'Doye seems to be content to just swan around and do absolutely sweet eff all. I'm getting a gut feeling that the Grey deal is 'off the table'.
Erm. Whooshed? Probably. Anyway, £2.2m, 3 year deal, club located in Trabzon; beautiful city located on the coast of the Black Sea in North Eastern Turkey.
Details Details .... Trabzon or Turkey is no where near the Dead Sea ... Israel and Jordan border the Dead Sea.
