FFP allows a loss of £13m this season. A few teams are risking being very close to this by gambling on getting promoted. Lots at stake this season.

You have my unreserved apologies, I'd never heard it before and I've been put firmly in my place. Nevertheless, It's not humorous in any way shape or form is it? Very odd...

What is funny is, had Roo not put me on his ignore list, he would have enjoyed the extreme embarrassment I have put myself through, immensely. Anyway, now I've left myself wide open to this unbearable ridicule, I'm off to eat liver. God I despise liver :angry:

My old man used to say that all the time when my mother would be having a go at him! Obviously it's been a whoosh moment here though!
 
The amusing thing about this thread is that some posters are criticizing the players (and their ages) and we haven't kicked a bloody ball yet!
Lets get a few games under our belt and then we can start criticizing - hopefully we will win our first six games and we can all 'wax lyrical' about the wonderful signings Steve Bruce has made.:emoticon-0136-giggl

No it's is funny! Instead of you saying I resent that remark! You're admitting that what you've been accused of is correct! So if someone says you're scruffy? Then you'd come back with "I resemble that remark"

Edit: don't want to further detail what has become an absolute bullshit thread. Every time I look at it it's 5 pages longer and 99% of the posts are irrelevant bullshit.

Then someone will have a go at someone for posting a player-related thread and claiming it's already been discussed.

I think I'll just stick to post 1 and hope OLM regularly updates it.
