Are you not happy unless you're moaning about something? He's a winger, he's skilful, I'm hoping he plays in an advanced midfield role to supply our attack. That video was 2 years ago when he was an over the hill 31. He'll be a great signing if we get him.
It was a joke FFS, everyone was having a crack at me for looking at his goal scoring record, and then to pump him up someone posts a video of him scoring goals.
No, there's one post of me criticising the potential signing of a player because I think he's not worth what we'd have to pay at his age, and then numerous people having a go at me and me defending my position.
Not sure if this has been posted already but.. “I didn’t think Akpom would be available,” said the Hull chief, who could add a fifth signing before the weekend after Brentford yesterday waived a stipulation in Moses Adubajoh’s contract that said Hull had to wait 21 days to complete the full-back’s signing after matching a £3.5m buy-out clause." http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spor...ull-arrival-akpom-s-bags-of-ability-1-7393297 "The last remaining obstacle was another clause in Odubajo's Brentford deal stipulating that clubs had 21 days to better City's offer but that has now been waived by the Bees, clearing the Londoner to join England under-20s team-mates Akpom and Hayden at the KC." confirmed in the HDM too. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...aloney-Moses/story-27549048-detail/story.html Should be announced today then.
I think Maloney will fit into the Robert Koren role very nicely; we've missed having a goalscoring playmaker and I've always rated him as a player. Who will be first to moan about him being 32?
Maloney stats on Twitter whilst at Wigan: 91 Games 15 Goals 17 Assists Exactly what we need. A provider of chances.
But.... some of them happened over a year ago, so it doesn't mean anything! He's over the hill and ****!
With Bruce's comments about injecting youth into the team it is surprising how we're going for an injury prone attacking midfielder who seems past his best. I'd of liked to see him here a few seasons ago, but not now. I seriously think Nick Powell would be a better signing, he must be at least 22 by now, can't imagine him being anywhere near Manchester United's first team at all, might want to sell him for a couple of million.
I agree.. Whilst its good to see Bruce acknowledging the fact we need this kind of player, id prefer it to be a younger player who could possibly also do a job in the prem if we get promoted. Someone like Powell would be ideal.
Nick Powell has hardly set the world on fire. If he is not committed in the premier I doubt we should risk it!!!! On 2 September, he was loaned to newly promoted Premier League team Leicester City for the rest of the season, with Tom Lawrence also making the move but on a permanent basis.[19] On 1 November, Powell made his Leicester debut against West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League, coming on as a second-half substitute for Danny Drinkwater on 81 minutes in a 0–1 home defeat.[20] On 27 December, it was reported that Leicester City had opted to terminate Powell's loan early due to the player showing a lack of commitment to training.[21]
