I can't believe we are going to start this season with Martin as our first choice centre back.

It's something that really worries me. He had a horror show against the binners in both legs of the play-offs and it was his header out from defence that led to their goal. Obviously AN sees something that we don't and I would far rather we spend some serious money on a quality CB!!!!

What did Mulumbu's injury look like - anything serious? A hammy?

Paddy Davitt has just posted that AN doesn't think the Mulumbu knock to his right foot is that serious. He'll have a precautionary scan once the swelling goes down.

He tried to play it off but couldn't. Looked like an ankle injury to me.

No he didn't.

Granted his headed clearance led to the goal in the first leg, but it's not fair to say he had a "horror show" in both games, that's just plain wrong.

I think Martin is a good player. At the end he was playing left back with Bennett and bassong in the centre.

Problem is we have a better left back than Martin as it is so unless he plays CB he doesn't really have a position.
