On the BBC site, which is how I'm following the cricket while I'm at a wedding, they're posting ideas of what to do in Birmingham. Best idea so far is a visit to the pen nib museum.

Just looking again at when James Anderson got injured. He bowled two trimmers, felt his side, doubling over in pain. He tried again, aborted his run and headed off. Unconfirmed reports suggest an intercostal tear. If that's the case, he could be done for a while. ( from the bbc , picture to prove it )
