He really has been a stand out player for us. We've been lucky to hang onto him for so long. I do feel disappointed it's WBA - I think his talents deserved a better stage than that. Good luck Chezzy.

He's the best defender we've ever had (IMO), and possibly my second favourite City player behind Elliott.

his height has let him down against taller players at set pieces. Maguire is good young bigger replacement and for 8mil you cant complain.

Best of luck to both Brady and Chester, but with the club's they've joined - they could easily be down here next season (in fact we could easily be passing them on the way).

Agreed. I'm not gonna start the Aluko argument up all over again but how many more chances does he need as a striker?! On the wing or not at all.

I posted earlier in this thread, 8 in 19 before doing his Achilles last time in the championship.

Not good enough I suppose? Probably because he's black, like N'Doye and Hernandez who you have similar gripes about.

Agreed, we came very close to losing him for a fraction of this price a couple of times before we got promoted. We all wanted £4m for him then I believe, now we have double.

As sad as it is, he's just too good for us now. West Brom are a stronger club than us so regardless of our position he has improved, but I do agree with those saying he could have done better, he wouldn't look out of place at all in a top 10 defence.

Agree he could have done better, just think some of the better clubs were reluctant because of his height, that's why im surprised he's gone to WBA and Pulis he usually likes his defenders that he buys, six foot and over.

That's a bit of myth, a hangover from his time at Stoke, he really doesn't play that way any more.

It's £1m up front, £3m over 5 years in instalments, then £2m in addons if WBA win the premier league and £2m if Wales win the World Cup.

If Pulis ever loses his cap/hat during a game we get another £500k....apparently?
