I've never had a decent meal in there.
Depends what you want. But if you can accept the 1970s type decor, the Half Moon at Elloughton has a large menu and a large specials board plus an early diners special board. We have always had great meals on the many times we have been there. Plus the beer is good!

My family had a Japanese meal in there on Saturday and it was very well received by all.

If you mean the pizza place across the road & down a bit from Johnny Haddocks it's ****ing awful & most of the scran ended up rammed in the bin of the nearby general store.

We had to go there once last season after a FSS tea time KO & JH's was shut. ****ing PL spoils everything with their stupid ****ing KO times even my FPC & MMP enjoyment. ****s. Another reason I'm glad we were relegated.
You was disappointed that johnny haddocks was closed? jeez you must have been hungry to eat there. Gilberdyke chippy is better but opening times are very bad. best one around that area is howden fish bar.

I only found it in March when I walked the Golden Fleece Circuit. Great location as it's chalky, South Facing and steep. All perfect conditions for grape growing. There's some great British wines, but as they are often small micro producers prices are at a premium.
