Sad times at the moment; - Decided to stick with Bruce as manager because he's a 'nice guy'. Couldn't keep us in the league despite a ton of money and some decent players. Total mismangement and stuck with failing tactics all season. Our players are getting bought up and linked with premier league clubs which shows you that we had a squad capable of staying up and blame must stop with the manager. Decided to stick with Bruce because he's a good Championship manager - There is disruption in the club between fans and the board because of the Hull Tigers bid. This isn't anything new - We got relegated in a dismal season. Tends to happen to teams that have a dismal season - For no apparent reason we got rid of McShane, Quinn and Rosenior and are going to replace them with inferior replacements. They didn't sign the offer on the table at the time and we released them - We look like a laughing stock to the outside world. Why? - We are sponsored by frigging Flamingo Land. Local family business, compared to some of the other less reputable companies we've had - The back of the shirt sponsor is Neil frigging Hudgell. And....... - We are losing our best players to clubs of a same stature as us which is a bitter pill to swallow. Brady & Chester. Same stature, as in the Premier League!!! - We are still likely to lose other quality players. Elmo, Huddlestone, Jelavic, N'Doye, Hernandez. Elmo and Huddlestone have said they want to stay, if they go they can be replaced. The three forwards have said they want to leave and possibly will, if they do they will also be replaced - Livermore has embarrassed the club with his cocaine antics and will likely be band for 9 months to a year. I'll give you this one although it might be 2 years - We've signed Ryan Taylor and injury prone crock. Probably signed as cover, with plenty of experience - We lost a player to a promotion rival in a farcial deal, which made no sense whatsoever and made us look like a laughing stock. The kind of player that could have helped us get promoted. Tom Ince. Him and his father didn't want to be at City anymore, it was a good deal at the end of the day for someone not interested in playing for the club - McGregor is a joke. Personally I don't think he is and will be excellent in the Championship now his personal life has been sorted out - The Allams seem now to be disinterested in the club and now seem to be asset stripping. What proof do you have regarding this statement? Has he stopped buying players? - The kit is orange not amber. No it isn't - Our best players Snodgrass and Diame have long Have long, what? - We need about 6 signings and the season starts in less than 2 weeks. No time at all for settling in, team building and fitness. They're professional footballers FFS, it won't take long to learn tactics and we shouldn't be signing them if they failed to keep up their fitness in closed season - We are likely to have more players vultured on deadline day. And if we do, we'll be more than likely doing business ourselves on deadline day, we usually do. Wobble Wobble There are far too many people looking in the past on here, we still have a very strong Championship team, there maybe a couple of more buys (as previously mentioned), there will be a few loan signings as well. Stop dwelling in the past, we went down, McShane/ Rosenior and Quinn don't play for us anymore, get over it. Start looking forward to this upcoming season. PS. I might have changed my mind on this post come deadline day, haha
Agreed. Actually FC is worse than Jordan Rhodes to mention on here. Fraizer fecking Campbell is like the Titanic.
I'd prefer Chester go to WBA than Lecister but it doesn't matter to much if they have both put in bids of 8 mill. People on Facebook are saying the 8 mill bids have been accepted, have we had any confirmation of that?
Forest won't be interested in a first choice keeper - they've just signed Ben Hamer on loan from Leicester, season long if I recall correctly.
Didn't Newcastle buy there, 1st choice keeper last season part of the deal was he was loaned back for the season, so I would presume they are in the market for a second keeper this season.
