I've tried to get my head round that but can't find anything that it relates to OLM. Have I missed something? (Which wouldn't be unusual).
When Allam bought the club, he said if nobody had come in, we'd have dropped straight to League Eight.
Thursday's a big day isn't it, if the Allams come back and Ehab wants to back up his plans to bounce straight back up and gives brucey a decent budget then great on the other hand they could still be in a strop over the name change. We' ll soon know what's said if bruce stays on or heads back to Portugal to get red
I missed that. Always assumed it was just a piss take at those fans who insist we'll tumble down the leagues the minute those nice Allams go.
I don't believe that was the context regarding this particular grotesque Allam soundbite, although I may be wrong, but Googling isn't finding the exact quote. From memory it was a veiled threat that if fans didn't want him at the club or didn't accept the Hull Tigers moniker, maybe they would prefer the club being in league 8 instead? It's the usual manipulative, divisive, baseless, veiled threats issued by our "great benevolent leader" that weak minded, spineless fans such as Sunbeam-Tiger have fallen for. Allam senior and junior have talked so much ****, said so many lies, and issued so many threats, that it is nigh on impossible to keep up.
It's reached a point where there's near enough no point in listening, because the chances of hearing the honest truth are slim to none.
