Found some interweb here in Francais and was just thinking about the optimism of football chants, such as those proclaiming the likes of Twatbeard to be a finer talent than Messi. It got me to thinking what chants we'd use if on a bout of honesty -

He plays on the left,
He plays on the right.
Cuco Martina,
At best he's alright.

He's big, he's round,
He's not great on the ground.
Wanyama, Wanyama...

When the ball hits the post,
Or the bar when on toast,
Graziano....

Oh When the Saints is actually very modest in itself. It is a song about wanting to go and watch football. I think that makes us the most honest team in football. :)

You're going home in a Hampshire bus or car or train or walking
or if you're really unlucky possibly to hospital in an ambulance
but an ambulance is unlikely to take you home
unless you are a paramedic
