I would agree, think he'd be quite useful. He is a decent holding midfielder better than anything we have got for that role and for a free could be a bargain.

I even agree with Smartarse, he could be a useful addition in the same way that Abdoulaye Faye was.

He's considerably overweight and hasn't found any kind of form since his brother died, which was over five years ago. It's very sad but that's the truth.

The season after his brother was killed he played nearly all the games in Tottenhams season? He was sold to Stoke for about 6 Million 2 years later........

 

I saw him a couple days ago against the U.S. In the gold cup. He played like **** and the U.S. players made him look like a development player. Also he is so well regarded that philly in the MLS who was going to sign him changed their mind. I really hope we don't sign him, let's try to get people who Philly might actually want and not players that a poor MLS team avoid.
