I never cease to be amazed by the speculation on these boards from 'reliable sources' such as the Cab Driver who took Huddlestone home the other night, a Sheila that works at the City Shop, someone who is 'in the know' and (best of all) 'our kid'! Why don't you all wait until OLM posts something as you can take it as gospel that it's correct. Until then it's pure speculation.
Let me correct you Note the prime source who works in the club's shop is Big Vern's our kid's bird, she may well be Sheila but i suspect she might be Kimberley.
Wilson Palacios, great another player plagued by knee injuries, if Austin couldnt get through a medical then how will this fella?
I think it's perfectly normal to not pay up front. It's us playing hardball. We were right to try that with Ince, if indeed we did, but not sure how N'Doye will feel about it what with his gentleman's agreement.
N'Doye is worth more than £4m, I susoect we're offering a better price if the whole thing is paid up front, but Besiktas still want to pay it in tiny increments over 100 years anyway.
N'Doye worth no more than £4m. Hit the ground running and looked like a world beater. Usual old story with City - within months looked uninterested and ordinary. Our kid thinks we will struggle to shift him
The local sports rag 'The Pinkun' in Norwich reckon they gonna bid for Jela! Personally of the 3 we want rid of, he's the one I would least like to see go, but then again guess its inevitable particularly if the Allams now throw their dummies out over the name change fiasco
I would be tempted to trade player plus cash for Jelavič. Only because of his injury record - we can't afford to carry injured players this season with a smaller squad. I really rate him, but his persistent knee problems last season are concerning.
I did, I think N'doye offered a lot, just some of the time he couldn't be bothered. Whereas Jelavic was full of determination, but spent most of the time injured. They're two different types of strikers, but N'doye has a good reputation on the continent, we won't struggle to shift him at all.
True - our kid reckons there has been plenty of interest but clubs are gagging on the wage demands. What bets - they will all be shifted on the cheap on transfer deadline day and we will be left with our pants down with no forward cover.
its a case of city holding there nerve, when it gets near to the deadline, common sense goes out the window and clubs start paying stupid money( Livermore for example) its one area that the Allam's are consistence on transfer's, Long and Ince 10 million or so profit. cant see this ownership giving player's away on the cheap.
The average wage in the Premier League is now £47,300k a week, so £50k a week for a striker is really just the going rate.
