It's a nice touch by Morgan that, after claiming that he wants to leave in order to play in the Champion's League, he has actually joined a team that will be playing in the Champion's League.
Fully agreed, not like others who claim that but really are only after a major wage increase
Sorry that he has gone to Manure, would rather he went to Arsenal where his skills would have been far better appreciated but very pleased he didn't let himself down like Clyne and Alderwiereld by going to second rate wanna be's like Scousehampton and Spuds

Is this a Southern view? I have a lot of United friends who are delighted by this signing. They'll love him at Old Trafford. They like their midgield players to have a bit of bite as well as skill - e.g Bryan Robson.

I remember being excited about him when he first signed for us way back when. And what an amazing 7 years it's been. He's been perfect for us and we've been perfect for him. Despite the year long build up, I'm sad to see him go. Thank you for everything Morgan. You're a Southampton Legend.<applause><ale>

I'm with Fran. I mean, I knew this was coming for ages but when I received the news that he'd passed the medical, I was absolutely gutted.

I'm not really gutted as I have had plenty of time to get use to him leaving. I just see it as a end of a era and a start of a new one. I only wish other players could behave like Morgan did.

I remember when I didn't use to rate Schneiderlin at all.

Gutted to see him leave, but at least he stood by his word.
