Schneiderlin signs for Man U - official

Saw his debut and saw his last game, one of my favourite players in my generation.

This is a proper emotional transfer...! It just feels like it signals the end of a massive chapter in our history. Legend, easily.

 

See you Morgan thanks for 7 years but please hand in your legend status at the door as you leave. To be fair, he does deserve to play Champions league but he should have waited until we qualify next year after winning the Europa league and done it with us

 

Yeah, couldn't fit his international breakthrough in. Remember he was told he needed to leave us to do it?

He ended up forcing his way in by sheer might and determination and ended up at the World Cup - and played!

 

Sad he had to leave, but seven years is such a long time in modern football and it's been a pleasure to watch him develop into the player he has become.
At United he will get the recognition his talent deserves. I'm tempted to pop a couple of £ on them to win the league and expect Morgan to be short listed for player of the year

He turned down Pompey and went on to play for his country at the WC after being told he needed to leave to even break into the set-up?

 

Avoiding joining Pompey is more than enough fairy dust. Even if he'd went straight on the dole and was never heard of again, that is genuine rags to riches stuff.

 

Bummer, another one down but no complaints about the way he's conducted himself. Thanks Morgan. Amazing how much things can change in 3 years but at least the progression has been upwards. Here's to the furture.

Watching this classy player blossom over the last few years has been nothing but a pleasure. Simply class.

He seemed a really, gentle fella when I met him too.

I can't wish united well really, although I don't mind if they win the champions league for Morgan. I hope he does very well for France.

Knowing he was leaving isn't the same as it happening

 

It's the cheesy photo in the shirt that I'm not looking forward too.
Hope we have a sell on. I genuinely think one of the Spanish giants will try and get him in a couple of years

 

I feel more devastated than I thought....like the end of an era. Another link lost with our promotion years. Going to be harder to get attached to players now....probably a good thing really as most seem in transit. Be hard for his replacement, because basically he isn't Morgan and he didn't help us get promoted. I wonder if my neighbour would let me kick her cat.

He's going to be like an ex you see all the time. I'm in favour of putting them down if they want to leave. Wouldn't be in such a hurry then, would they? Sadly, my solicitor said it wasn't an option.

I don't have bad feelings about him. He has been fantastic for us and I thought I would be okay about it as he stayed last year (head). Surprising myself by how upset I am considering we all knew he would go (heart).

 

Sad yet inevitable. Conducted himself well apart from one little wobble and has been instrumental in our rise. Thanks for the hard work, and i genuinely hope he does well, though part of me fears he may struggle for game time a little considering how stacked Man Utd's midfield is.
