Thank God! !!!! Now that city are in we can move on other targets. Hopefully the real Madrid Russian link is wrong.
i reckon we have already spent the sterling money, its going to be sell to buy from now on and we have some ****e to get rid of lol.
Sterling will be sold and we'll meet the Benteke release clause. We can be as optimistic as we like but that's the likely scenario. Good or bad overall? Taking everything into consideration it's can't be bad surely?
it is very highly likley yes. I am relaxed about it as i know he can finish a chance.... the only worry i have is his injury recrd cos frankly if it doesn't suit rodgers and he gets sacked great.
indeed but i can't see why the F we'd want yeat an other player like him when a stiekr has to be firs tpriority.
Well if it was a choice between Benteke and Pedro then Pedro wins hands down, however if we're able to get Lacazette then we 100% should. But like Sky says, let's not kid ourselves, we'll most likely get Benteke, unfortunately. If we do get him then I'll support him 100%, at least until we see what he can do for us
no for me. my view is simply we don't need yet anothe rAM no matte rif he's better than the hiarcut or no. we need a striker now.
The little scrote is likely to get £200k per week. I really hope he struggles to get much playing time, or Sakho pulls an Agger on him.
Can't see us just meeting the clause for benteke once we sell sterling, we could afford it without the sterling money, so just because we have more don't think we will.
It has been widely publicised that any striker deal (Benteke) is independent of Sterling's departure.
Chelsea are willing to fork out €30m to sign Pedro and the Barcelona forward is open to moving to the Premier League, reports Sport.
Yeah,Raheem's return to Anfield will be interesting. I agree, get Sakho to chew him up and spit him out
Thats maybe why we value Benteke at £25m. With the Sterling money we can afford to go all in and use the left overs for an actual good forward signing, I hope.
No way would we fork out £29 mil on Firmino and £32.5mil on Benteke without cashing in on a major deal. We have the money yes, but our owners aren't complete idiots - for them it's a business. It's not a part-time hobby like Roman and the Arabs at City. If we kept an unhappy Sterling and spent 60mil on 2 players - that's a big hit, no matter how rich you are. Also Clyne etc. to take into account - I know we just got rid of some big wage packets, but that's still crazy money, from a business point of view. The main factor in all this is getting rid of an unhappy player, if we don't we're ****ed. It will all be a tumble effect, once Sterling goes we'll see movement within a few days.
I agree. we are building a giant stand as well... there's a lot of cash baout and we didn't spend last window in january but theres no way we have all of that plus the money on clyne and ings. we will be balancing the books later in window as well. you are totally right. I reckon it'll all start happening over the next week.
