Err not being funny but a couple of posts further up they were discussing value/performance resale value. His international status is academic - what difference exactly does that make to Hull City? He's fourth choice they have a really small population, he only makes the team as they probably only have 4 strikers to choose from. The only way he replaces Suarez or Cavani is if they are banned/injured/rested. He's ****e and he's been a £10m embarrassment. We'll be lucky to recover 60% of that fee.

    Not really no.

I would seriously consider taking transfers away from him like most of our sports do here. Or at the minimum he doesn't get to decide striker transfers. 10 mill could have got us Bradley and we could have sold Hud, which would have improved our midfield we then could have taken the savings and the Hud money and paid for half of Rhodes.

Edit. This predictive text **** is annoying I have to edit posts like 4 times.

:emoticon-0138-think You're getting into the bounds of Football Director and head Coach now, bloody hell, is nothing too contentious or off limits for you? <whistle>

I know what you mean about predictive text, I use two phones (own/work + tablet and laptop) and they are hard to keep up with; not just PT but the way the site plays out as well, keeps us on our toes though, just like SB! :emoticon-0100-smile

NO ONE QUESTIONS MY CV!! When I am owner I am going to make myself manager and base all my decisions off FIFA free transfers over 75 overall and of course YouTube. To appease the fan base we will have drums, cheerleaders and goal music with fireworks after goals. I shall decide formations based off polls on this very forum, uh and a free tiger onezy with every season ticket purchase. BOOM the most popular owner in our history right here.

<laugh> Good luck with that lottery, it sounds great! Glad you left the half'n'half scarves out though, reckon that would have got a protest group going, not to mention the odd banner.

You'll see I'm going to win that 500 mill lottery one day. No half and half scarfs one has to draw a red line somewhere. I hope you like nachos bc you all are getting some American nacho machines for the KC.

Not when Soton had first right to speak to him and he signed an agreement when he first went there on loan that if Soton paid the fee that he agreed terms for a permanent move.

I think your right, I was just saying 3rd choice behind Suarez and cavannni and a international goal scoring record of 9 in 22 isn't bad. That's the only bit I commented on as for the rest I'm not disagreeing with you

Its alright to bag Hernandez, But have a look at our centre Midfield we had/ didn't have this last season. We were so predictable. Our opposition knew that we would attack down the right using Elmo, so they planned against it. Livermore and Thudd were that **** this last season I don't even think our opposition worried about them. It was like we were playing 9 against 11 for the majority of the season. Then again it's just all about opinions isn't it

Yes your right we probably didn't play to Hernandez's strengths, instead of changing things we write another striker off. knocking long balls up from wide positions isn't the way to go. If we carry on like that we need to sign Peter crouch

I've said this all along, Hernandez is useless unless you play to his strengths. Which is playing on the shoulder of the defence, most of his goals for Palermo were scored in this way. Whereas in a city shirt he always has his back to goal waiting for someone to hoof it up to him, the one game we did play to his strengths was against Everton at home, the ball was hoofed into Jelavic who held it up and Hernandez ran at, he ran past, and he ran through their defence.

If we end up keeping him great, but you need a Jelavic or N'Doye to be the target man, and Hernandez needs to play on the shoulder of the defender, he would bag quite a few goals this season if we play to his strengths.

It's easier to write him off than change the real problem with the team, then we have the same topic in the jan window when we need yet another striker because the one we'll sign this window will be written off!!

I don't think my younger brother has much time for the papers other than to house his pattie and chips.
