No I was really implying that you were expecting to see your team on here being slagged off. No hate from me, ive got over that eve when Rosenthal scored a hat trick and knocked us out of the cup.
One of my favourite games! Archers Road might be right about Grobelaar, though. Wonder what odds he got on the comeback?
After due consideration I would have to go with Portsmouth Havant & Waterlooville Paulsgrove (used to play against them)
Only team I particularly dislike is Man City, especially their women's team. I used to dislike Liverpool, but I'm now more indifferent to them, as I am for like 99% of the teams in the Football League.
Currently it's gotta be Barcelona because when we offer 10million for Messi.....their bound to turn it down Then Real Madrid as above Ronaldo.......7.5mill cracking offer but I bet Mr Reed won't go any higher And finally Newcastle........because they got Keegan on the cheap from us.... But as you say........it could all change
I do agree that hate is a strong word and in normal live I'm laid back (apart from the many moments of road rage I get) and I don't hate anyone or anything.. Football is an amazing sport, not just for the entertainment but for the emotions you go through. You go from being on top of the world one minute to being down in the dumps the next and vice versa. There are moments you really love and event's that happen that you hate. Generally those emotions are the forgotten. Anyway, in case there were not enough reasons in my OP why I hate spurs, I have 3 more. I was a young teenager when I went with a mate to the Dell around 1986 for a saints - everton game. In getting from the train station to the ground, some ****er in a spurs shirt who was sitting in a shop doorway followed us, jumped my mate from behind a knocked his two front teeth out. Missed most of the game as he received medical treatment at the ground. Mind you we lost 0-4 which was also painful. I also hated how spurs scored so many late goals last year, they played **** for 80 minutes and a few times scored equalisers and then winners in the last 10. Tommy Forcast.
I'm not a big fan of them either. I don't know why specifically, I just hear about them way too much I think and it's like as a Portsmouth fan I'm expected to support them, but I really don't. Much prefer Gosport Borough.
Never liked Spurs Although Liverpool's team of the 80's was awesome, (most of the kids at school "Supported" them and Manu and I hated that. Always wanted them to do well in Europe , Until last year. Everton would have been number 3 but had a good time up at Goodison this year. The Blue half did Actually have a good sense of humour! So, Pompey?...nah banter and rivalry is good for the game, and I grew up in a time when my grandad would watch Saints one week,Pompey the next and even pop down toBournemouth. So hatred is too strong but don't want them to win. Always had the dilemma if I had to pick a winner of Pompey v Scotland !!! Number 3 has to be Brighton (school day rivalry with a mate, smug bastard when they got promoted)
Don't hate them but love to see Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern and Glasgow Rangers lose!!! Love teams from the Iberian Peninsula apart from Atletico Madrid.
Not so sure about hate, but I think most football fans would love to see a season when one of the big clubs has to fight a relegation battle.
Their joining together ruined Newport's chant. Always sang a song against the team we were playing and ended 'We hate Havant; We hate Havant.' Then had to add (after a long pause) 'And Waterlooville.'
