How is saying you don't like a shirt throwing a tantrum? Maybe people are misunderstanding you because you're hardly making sense... Having said that, I do agree that it's only a shirt and, while I won't be buying it, the performances on the pitch are all that matters.
Nothing wrong with not liking the shirt Hucks, but you don't have to go overboard about it, that's all I meant! If my partner made a hash of something in public, then, in public, I would back and support her, I would then calmly point out her error in private! As long as our team wins, they can wear what they like!
To be honest Dave, it feels you're the one that's gone over board a little. People said they didn't like the design, but no one said they'd stop supporting the club over it! No need to make mountains out of mole hills.
If you look at the early posts, quite a few were criticizing the club for allowing the design to go ahead, I just think cleverer people than I are using our team colours to design a new kit for us to play in this year. I will not back down on this, I am adamant that a few went over the top so I responded in kind!
They said "I don't get why the club would ok this design" I don't recall them saying anything harsher than that. You've blown it out of proportion. It's only a bloody shirt!
Right, and no one else has been in anyway riled by this thread. I assume most are finding it quite amusing, I certainly was.
Well, I'll tell you this now dave, if it had been up to a designer, we would not have this ridiculous kit. The people who made it will know it looks daft.
The thing is carrabuh, it was designed by a very clever man who knows exactly what he's doing. The fact that you don't like it is immaterial, it has outsold all previous strips so you must be in the minority!
Couldn't have been that clever as he would have done it right instead of almost getting it right lol. People were criticizing it but I haven't seen anyone going over the top, just voicing their opinion which is what the forums are for. Put it this way, if the team doesn't play well, we will criticize them but never stop supporting the team. It's selling well anyway which is a good thing, so that's all what matters (well and getting results on the pitch). I don't hate it, I just think it was so close to being perfect in my opinion.
No Dave, it was not designed by a very clever man. The designer will have the brief, lets have half green half yellow, we cannot have the logo interfered with. The design was already made before he got his hands on it.
To be unveiled against Hitchin Town tomorrow evening http://www.canaries.co.uk/news/article/norwich-city-away-kit-reveal-hitchin-town-2542972.aspx
