I do find that hard to believe that the manager doesn't know the contract or loan details of his players.

Because the loan deal contract was arranged by an incompetent ****wit. I do wonder who that could have been?

Well this is interesting now. If Bruce really has commented on his disappointment and lack of control over this decision, the reaction from the Allams will be something to watch.

Stories in The Sun or Mirror could obviously be made up, but based on the Allams previous record, legal action against Livermore is exactly what I'd expect.

He's obviously said it, these are direct quotes...

"I certainly wouldn't have sold Tom and I did all I could to keep him,"

"We shouldn't be selling our top young players when trying to put together a team to challenge for an immediate return to the Premier League.

"I saw Tom as an integral part of my plans. But Derby met the buy-out clause and then it was the choice of others to let him leave."

So much bollocks getting written on here this summer.

Ince thinks he's better than he is. So ****ing what? Is that the worst thing about him? It's been repeated dozens of times as if it actually means something. What's it even based on?

I agree his dad's a twat but again so what? It hasn't stopped him being one of the best players in this division before now and it won't stop him at Derby either.

Oh we made a profit? Wonderful! Just like the profit on Long. Maybe we can get another absolute waste of space from Serie B to blow it all on. Money means **** all, players will win us games, not profit.

It's kind of funny how the Allam fans love to say "It could be worse, look at Newcastle and Mike Ashley" yet they get all giddy about losing our best players for a profit, exactly like Newcastle do.

    That's pretty much it.

The dissent from Bruce is an uncomfortable stab of reality to those promoting Hull Tigers as a one off footballing utopia.

That story from the Sun could well have been made up, as there were no quotes from anyone. The Mirror quotes SB, so he must have said it.

That's exactly the point that some are missing; forget whether or not you think he was worth keeping, focus on how our uber-competent management team have tossed his relationship around and eventually realised they had a valued asset that they had made themselves incapable of retaining. Put that in the mix with the releases and whatever will happen next and I will be interested to see some of the comments on here when the season starts.

It really amuses me that folk are happy that we have lost a young player, a player who someone will have to manage no matter what, a player who scored 11 from 18 in the league we now find ourseleves, a player who now plays for a very strong rival. Are you lot, the ones who are glad to see him go, in your right mind? What does next season, or two years hence, have to do with anything, isn't our stated objective immediate promotion? Bloody bonkers, at least Bruce knew we needed to keep him, he was simply incapable of achieving it.

Yes, and why was that? Managed by a close family friend, playing with a newly contracted childhood playmate, what was missing?

So you think the squad (as opposed to team) should be built purely on the principle of playing 3-5-2? How well did that work last season and how often did we have to change shape putting round pegs in square holes?
I thought Bruce had made it clear he wanted to keep Ince, are you saying that is not the case? If Bruce did not want him, why would Ehab? Are we getting shot of Snodgrass and Aluko too?

So you think Ince would not have been a waste of a player, even if our key shape would be 3-5-2? I find it very hard to believe that Bruce or anyone with one ounce of football nous would think that. This seems to be all about instant financial gratification and ****- all to do with football.

I think if we played 3-5-2 he wouldn't be in the team, so would be a waste of a player(or at least a waste of a wage). Ince looks good in the Championship playing wide in a front three, or on the wing, he looked bloody useless playing for us in both the cup and league games last season.

I went to twelve of the thirteen games he played in for us and he was poor in roughly twelve of them. He's obviously got ability, his Championship record is excellent, but you really have to build a team around him and I don't think there's any chance we'd do that.

    I also think he's a ****er.
