Brady impressed me from the moment he signed on loan, yes he has improved and grown into his wingback role. He also has had dips in form, notably after his hernia operation. I use him as an example because he has performed well in positions not considered to be his best. He plays like he is happy to be in the side no matter what position, left back, left wing or upfront. I could not say the same about Tom from the chances he got with us.
Fair enough; my thoughts were that he was slow to develop and, although we saw glimpses, he has only really blossomed in the last season. I agree that Ince was nothing spectacular in his PL appearances, but believe we should put them to one side as there were other factors at play and we wanted his Championship form not that snapshot from the PL. Bruce seems to believe so, too.
