It may just be papertalk from the national press, or is Mr Bruce engineering a get out position for himself before the season starts? If transfers don't go well he can cite interference from the owners and the selling of his best players as a means to an end.
The first cracks in the relationship. You won't get away with much more of that Brucie, the Allams are infallible. Like L. Ron Hubbard, or a member of the Kim dynasty. How will this be defended? I thought everything that happened was meticulously planned and thought through by our benevolent benefactors? Surely everything they do is good for everyone everywhere? All the time? Could it be that they're not superheroes after all? I just can't believe that that wouldn't be the case. Off with Bruce's head. He is the enemy! Hail the Allams. Send him to wherever Nick Barmby ended up, apostate land. The Allams are never wrong. Tom Ince was evil. He poisoned Steve Bruce. Now he is evil too. There's only the Allams who can save Hull City. Or something along those lines.
If we sign Whittingham, Gray and Wilson, all of this will be instantly forgotten. At least until we have a bad run.
No cracks in the Allam regime. All dissent must be crushed. I will be petitioning for the removal of Steve Bruce to Nick Barmby-Land. He'll be making a very slightly derogatory remark about transfer policy on Radio Humberside next, and we can't have that. Let's put Ehab in charge of the team.
Brucies completely lost the plot - those players that he finished the season playing in the Prem like Macca and Quinny, he lets go - those players who he didn't think were good enough for the Prem and he loans out, like Maguire and Ince he now wants and those that are **** in the Prem and the Championship like Junior he gives them a multi year contract - Broadmoor awaits
Any trialists going to Portugal i wonder............ Our lass has it on good authority that N'Doye will not be here for next season.
Some people seriously need to ger a grip of themselves and look at this without an agenda, have the players who have gone really been that much of a suprise other then Rosie? Macca - had a tantrum and fell out with the boss, worked his way back into team through injuries and loss of form to davis, he wants first team football and other then passion and putting his body in he is an average defender at best (no better or worse then bruce jr who committed himself to the club when offered chance) Quinn - forget hindsight of last season, would you have oicked him ahead of huddlestone or livermore following 2013/14 season when both were immense? When we signed ramirez and ben harfa were you not excited and could not see quinn getting in, I thought he woukd be off then, then add Diame and meyler to the mix. Again another passionate player who works hard but only average ability, and fair play wants first team football. ince - I though he would be great for us last season but he simply wasnt, he is one of those players who is above the championship standard but not premiership quality. No doubts efforts were made to keep him but he wants to move on after a good season in champiinship with derby, had he had a good season with us in premiership I reckon he would have got a massive new deal this season. Ultimately it makes sense to make a decent profit off him rather then have him sulking then going for a free at the end of the season. this window was always going to be about rebuiling the squad, personally I am happy with that, on paper we should have easily stayed up, pundits had us in top 12, but many players didnt perform ir where not of the right attitude or standards. I am looking forward to some keen, committed, hungry young players coming in who want success.
Well done on deliberately missing the point, like most. The point of the matter is that we wanted to keep him, but he wanted to leave, we couldn't persuade him to stay, and the clause was above the manager's head. It displays - Incompetence Inability to keep players No communication between owner and manager Oh, but we made a profit. We made a profit on Long and got relegated. Brill. I'm not particularly arsed how the team performs, my main issue is this ****ing Hull Tigers **** and the season ticket prices, but it is very noticeable how we are struggling to hold the squad together, even when we want to, and even when the competitors are just fellow Championship teams. Spin it however you want, we tried, and we failed, and we made ourselves look stupid in doing so.
What's the obsession with Rhodes ??? Massively overpriced and overrated IMO Hardly rips up any trees and you could guarantee him not being prolific with the system we play
