Steve Bruce will do all he can to keep Quinn, unless Quinn is playing hard ball to get more money out of us or he wants to leave

Fully agree, specially seen as though sounds like Bruce is thinking he is going to be losing Diame and is already without Livermore. We sound very thin there all of a sudden........

I don't see how we'll lose diame before January, he'll miss the first month of the season so that takes us past the window. Going on current form he's bound to have another setback, it could be October before he's back to full match fitness.

I reckon he'll go in the loan window as soon as he's fit just to get away from Bruce and then leave in January for peanuts back to the BPL.

it says in the daily mail that Bruce expects Diame (as well as the three want away strikers) to leave as long as he can prove his fitness. A loan wouldnt work unless its to another championship team though i might be wrong but i thought all top level leagues didn't have a loan window after the transfer deadline.

At least Meyler will be effective again, he was good in the Championship last time.

I'd rather exchange N'Doye for Hooper, both worth about the same.

    Scored 12 in 32.

He's not bad, but I'd rather have Adam Le Fondre and he'd cost less.

I'd rather have Hooper than Le Fondoo.

Is it this season that the loan window has been abolished?

Le Fondre or Hooper would do for me, I think for the Championship either of them would be a good acquisition.

Maybe it is actually 3 million + Hooper as someone suggested?

Although Hooper and Le Fondre are both decent players they are not the type that will work well in our team, we need someone on the end of crosses, so Murphy and Rhodes fit the bill.

In a perfect world we need to find the nearest thing to Duncan Ferguson

    No, just making an observation.

How is it in my head if it's on screen? And how is it to myself if you quoted it and I'm replying? It isn't. Is that how Steve Bruce speaks? Yes, other Barry, yes it is.

I think we need one from each pair mentioned already a Murphy/ Rhodes and a Hooper/ Le Fondre. Different types of strikers who will hopefully form a decent partnership
