Haven't a clue tbh. But I doubt Wanyama will be here much longer.

    Yeah I believe it's 2017, think it was a 4 year deal.

Yeah I think next summer will be when we are all talking about Wanyama/Mane/possibly Tadic leaving

Tadic maybe if he has a good season.
Mane would take a huge fee.

Yes - Real Madrid and the Spain national side make a habit of picking average, non-world class players to marshall their defensive unit. Explains their lack of success over the years. Think you have to argue that Ramos is near-on THE definition of a world class player, having won everything that's possible to win with club and country, and made over 500 appearances combined for both that club and Spain. How else can you exactly define world class?

Yeah, I don't think we'd accept anything less than 30mill for Mane.

FLT, your posts are making me feel strange today, like I stepped into a time machine and went back a day. You're forcing me to live yesterday all over again! :emoticon-0158-time:

Any chance we can get him to sack his agent?

Didn't make much difference with Clyne...

His red cards will counteract his goals.

Nope, I think Wanyama sees him as a father figure. But in reality he is just a dodgy South African agent.

Maybe he was surrounded by world class players and protected for many years by Xabi Alonso, a fantastic defensive midfielder.

Didn't Kreuger say that in football a 3-yr deal is really a 2-yr deal...how come the only ones we gave a really big deal to was Osvaldo and that awful GK (whose name I have managed to forget whilst I was typing this:)).

I barely have an opinion on the guy in particular, but when you have his stats and you're still in your 20s, you're worth £30-50m. CBs get sent off - it's part of the job, especially over 600 games or so for club and country. I know he has an insane number of reds, but look at Keane, Vidic, Vieira, Koschielny, Barton, Lovren - some of the world's best get red carded a fair amount (a few jokers in the pack there, to help illustrate and benchmark what 'average' actually is). Experience at the levels he has costs serious money. His reds won't put any team off, if they can afford him. Be interested to see how many games were lost when he was sent off. Bet the result comes out in his favour (actually, found it: is 4 out of 19 games - one loss v Espanyol; one against Sevilla; and two against Barcelona, but arguably one of those games they had lost anyway, as the red was in injury time when they were losing. Of course, what really matters is the impact each of those losses had - but can't be arsed with that one :emoticon-0148-yes:).

And the powers that be at Madrid let out a huge sigh of relief that they could now afford to put an average player at CB as a result, and leave out any single CB in the world that they could have at the drop of a hat?

How do you think I feel, I'm here permanently! Also, don't forget you drove past the Glasto site on Wednesday, there is usually a bit of an atmosphere around there!
