Sir Christopher Lee was also a war time hero, working alongside the SAS then recruited to the SOE, quite a fruitful and varied military career even including a detachment to the Ghurkas. He never spoke about his time with the SAS, infact there is story somewhere that an interviewer brought his military career up during an interview, Lee asked if the interviewer "could keep a secret", to which the interviewer said they could, Lees response was classic as he replied "so can I". Stage wise, aside from acting Sir Lee was also an opera singer too.
Quite a talented chap really.

One of the most iconic movie composers, James Horner, died in a plane crash yesterday at the age of 61.

Did many iconic films, such as Aliens, Apollo 13, Titanic, Avatar, A Beautiful Mind, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Braveheart, Field of Dreams, An American Tail, The Rocketeer among countless others, winning 2 Oscars.

RIP.

Kinky Boots was Honor Blackman, but the best Avenger was Diana Rigg.

The name Emma Peel was clever, it was actually derived from M-Appeal(or Man-Appeal).

I was just about to post a very similar comment.

Diana Rigg was the sexiest woman on television.

I don't do wrestling these days, when I was a kid back in the 80's he was a big name.

We went to Hulk Hogans shop in Clearwater the other week and apart from John Cena, who my grandson copies, I didn't know anyone from today's wrestlers, I nearly bought a signed Bushwhackers tee shirt but it was too small for me, he must be skint (Hulk ) because he's flogging off his belts signed pics clothing all sorts, big money mind.

You might remember 'Nature Boy' Buddy Landel then.

One of THE great rock bass players.

RIP big feller.

The opening 2 minutes and 38 seconds are as good as it gets, culminating in a couple of marvellous bass runs from Squire.
