    Most high profile transfers and some lower down the scale all mention multi-million pound transfer fees of mind boggling proportions and that is just the fee not the added costs or 'personal terms' or taxes. I can't see it changing anytime soon and so do not understand the overall viability of the game in the UK, are the FA, FL and other organisations in massive debt or is it just most individual clubs? Clubs have gone bust we know but can the PL, FA or FL go bust as well and are we now reliant on TV rights to keep the game rolling along, anyone know?

    They were and allegedly had a bid turned down, though oddly, it was reported to be a higher bid than this one.

    Sheffield Wednesday have agreed a deal to sign Dutch defender Darryl Lachman from FC Twente.

    Everton have confirmed the signing of Gerard Deulofeu from Barcelona for £4.2m.

    Sky are reporting that Tom Cairney is currently having a medical at Fulham, the fee is between £3.5 and £4m.

    Rather better than the £500k we got for him.

    Kalas was on loan at the Boro for a period. Bamford is a massive loss.

    £8m for Tyrone Mings is mental.

    But nice to see a few rivals getting weaker atm.
