If you wanted Ince as an integral part of the team - why would you have included an option to buy? Where else can you find a player for £4.75m that will get you 15-20 goals in the Championship. Mental.
The window hasn't even opened, what part of that do you not understand? Have a read of this (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/32959492), and tell me how behind we are, because looking at the players transferred in there, we aren't behind whatsoever. Tell me, off the top of your head, apart from the couple of signings Derby have made, how many teams challenging in the Championship have made loads of transfers? Overreaction alert. Calm the **** down.
ince is a proven championship player so of cause we now want to keep him wether he was premier player remains to be seen to me the small amount of time I so him he looked ok and that was about it nothing special but the championship is a different matter and you cant argue with is record
It's not how many you buy, but who you buy, you just have to look at some club's who have gone mad in the transfer market over the last few season's for it to blow up in there face's, Qpr, Norwich, Cardiff, and of course City.would imagine that any player's city are after, are aware of it through there agent's and as we know from experience lot's of player's hold out to the last minute.
It's just mainly the freebies that are moving at present. Though there has been a couple of decent freebies that have signed - Carson for one would have been an astute signing. Especially as we're seemingly going to be left with one keeper. The fact we haven't looked at current freebies can suggest only one thing - we're going for fees! Hopefully with whoever we move out for fees we can re-invest in some real quality, proven in this division. TWT as always. Not losing Ince to Derby would be a big plus - but as I may have mentioned once or twice. Which ****wit agreed to a sell on clause of £4.75m should get a rocket.
It was only a slight overreaction, do none of you remember last summer? When we overpaid for Hernandez because we literally had no other "irons in the fire" as Bruce would call it, to replace Long. My point was that if we do that again we will end over paying AGAIN!
If Brucey does let any of his 'strikers' go without having suitable replacements lined up, he's a bl**dy idiot! He needs promotion this season, or get very close otherwise he's down the road. There's only so long you can 'stand still' and we've done that for 18 months already!
Charlton rookie new on City's radar? HULL City need to find reinforcements ahead of a new Championship season and one report suggests Charlton star Jordan Cousins is on Steve Bruce's radar. The South London Press claim City have joined a long, long line of suitors for the 21-year-old midfielder, who has played England representative football since under-16s. Charlton are attempting to fight off the interest in Cousins by tabling a new long-term deal but the number of clubs interested would suggest they are fighting an uphill battle. The latest report says Norwich please log in to view this image , Aston Villa and Newcastle are all keeping tabs on the rookie, while Liverpool have previously been linked. A sideways step in the Championship to City would seem a long shot in that company. Cousins made his debut for the Addicks two years ago and has quickly gone on to rack up 94 appearances in all competitions. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...tory-26766393-detail/story.html#ixzz3e4RPvDFW
No need to panic just yet. In Aluko, Ince and Snodgrass we have three of the top Championship stand outs of the last few seasons on our books. Let's hopefully keep it that way.
First signing? Yassin El Colombiano @memphisdepay672 @HullCity I am very happy to have sign at Hull City U21 North East. Now I am a tiger ! #GOHULLCITY ! please log in to view this image
Could be a wind-up for all I know, someone just tagged me in a retweet, I can't find any info about him other than he lives in France.
We weren't expecting to lose Long, especially not two weeks before the end of the transfer window. It probably threw SB a bit because having spent the better part of £14m on him and Jelavic, we weren't looking to sign any strikers so we had to go out and sign somebody to replace him. This year we're probably aware of the fact that we have a lot of desirable assets and have probably scouted any contingencies if they were to leave. We'll be scouting plenty of players, but we don't want to be buying anybody for the sake of it; it's only June and as Uni Boy (too soon?) said, there's still two whole months of the transfer window remaining. Furthermore, we have a very good Championship side already, so unless we see players leave, don't expect too many incomings, no more than 4 or 5 anyway.
