What is that supposed to mean?
Apartheid was the name given to the white South African government's racial segregationist policy from 1948. Over the following few decades the word "apartheid" tended to be used in other countries when discussing general racial inequality matters not just South African. The Afrikaans word "apartheid" means "apartness" or "apart-hood" before it was hijacked to mean an abhorrent social system. The football pictures in this thread show an apartness of black and white players. That becomes sinister when taken in the context of how black and white people used to be apart or segregated in South Africa (and still are in many parts of the world).

What a load of crap.

unfortunately in this day and age with the media imposing on everything, situations like this need to be avoided by the management, simply by having seating plans for meals, or making the lads aware of the potential implications by sticking with their respective friends. Most team building involves being placed into different groups on regular occasions. I just hope naivety doesn`t spark an outrage at such reporting.

While you've still got Google translate up...

cesser d'être une petite merde prétentieuse
Funnily enough, I don't need Google translate for French unlike some who need an introductory course in manners. Oh, try Google!

It certainly is a bit racist of the black players to congregate together and cold shoulder the whites.
Is that what the article is about?
I would have thought it is multiculturism in action. Different cultures living side by side but seperately.
But seemingly very happy about it all, which makes a mockery of it being a hark back to apartheid and also a mockery of the idea that multiculturalism is "a failed experiment".

Well, young men earning up to £100,000 a week are hardly examples of some oppressed minority. As for multiculturism, that is a failure. It causes division and encourages separation. You don't see multiculturism in Muslim countries for example.

That well known right winger and Nazi sympathiser Micheal Foot. That other goose-stepping fascist Earl Longford said equally complimentary things. Funny old world.
Which only goes to show they were a couple of deluded fools with piss poor judgement, that continued throughout their lives.

Which jackbooted, right wing fascistic nazi said this about Moseley?

“No rising star in the political firmament ever shone more brightly than Sir Oswald Mosley . . . by general assent he could have become the leader of either the Labour or the Conservative party.
What Moseley so valiantly stood for could have saved Britain from the Hungry Thirties and the Sevond World
War.".

If you are going to quote, do so accurately. Michael Foot actually said "No rising star in the political firmament ever shone more brightly than Oswald Mosley, none promised more surely to soar to the heavens – and none fell to earth with so deadening a thud. Never were such rich talents so wretchedly squandered. Never did success turn to failure so inscrutably."

It was Lord Boothby, a Conservative, who said, "Mosley is the only man I have ever known who could have been the leader of either the Conservative or Labour party...he might have been a very great Prime Minister."
