I thought it was ironic in a way that the pitch was discovered to have the swastika, which had been deliberately imprinted into the surface, it's reckoned between 24 and 48 hours earlier. The match was to be played behind closed doors as a punishment because of racist chanting occurring in the previous match or matches.
