He should wait until the crisis is sorted before making comments like this, the new Fifa might put that world cup up for grabs again andand hes making it look as though England deserve it by right looks like sour grapes.

Couldn't agree more. The Government and FA could also do a lot worse than use this as an opportunity to have a good look at why it is that we're not as popular as we'd like to think we are and try and build bridges. It's no good just sitting back every time and moaning that we lost bids because everyone's either a) corrupt or b) hates us. A is being solved now and we need to participate fully in that. B is going to take a bit more work and imagination but it shouldn't be impossible.

If you read back on the history of FIFA - how it started etc. you'll see we've always been suspicious/wary of the organisation - nothing's changed in over a 100 years <ok>

Go back further and look at when the FA ran world football and you'll see why FIFA's busybodies dislike the FA <whistle>

Fifa crisis: England 'ready' to host World Cup in 2022 - Whittingdale

Who came second in that bidding process, who get second highest votes?

Not sure if already posted, but FIFA "settled" with the Irish FA over the Henry handball. 3.6m to not take FIFA to court

Never mind Henry, the officials seen that Double handball and let it go, Platini rigged that match after rigging the seeding in conjunction with FIFA to make sure France got through.

Platini is just as rotten as Blatter.

The minute this all came out about FIFA I reckon UEFA did a huge "house cleaning" operation.

Well that is who will get it if Qatar lose it surely, Whittingdale is ****ing dreaming, England weren't even in the running for that WC votes wise

Would that be a bit controversial with it being the FBI taking Fifa apart?

Australia were third

C'mon, when the winner of any event is caught cheating, second always gets bumped up to first.

So.. is this whole mess the US trying to get the Qatar WC pulled so the US get it?<whistle>

Australia? **** no. There's like 200 people in the whole country, and 199 of them are more interested in sheep shagging <laugh>

What makes me laugh about the England bid is they weren't even on the Radar like. Did England get even one vote for 2022? They got 2 for 2018 <laugh>

We didn't try for 2022. We had an agreement with USA that we'd leave 2022 alone if they did the same for 2018

Stepp Blatter and his aids believe that it is a conspiracy

He's right, and he's smack bang in the middle of it. <laugh>

But lets be honest, any revote by FIFA will certainly see a US bid fail now as well as any England bid. The same people and orgs pretty much make it up and many of them were in Blatter's tribute system. They will get revenge with votes in any new bidding process

Loving the BBC hyperbole. "FIFA PAID TO STOP HENRY LEGAL ACTION"

Settling out of court is a completely legal and quite normal thing

Thing is Delaney is saying it was a legal agreement between Fifa and the FAI, but him accepting an estimated £3.5m on the FAI's behalf for not taking legal action was a cop out, the nation's bars, off lisences, sports retailers etc lost millions in income and the fans weren't asked whether to take the money or take legal action.
The vast majority would have preferred to have took the ****s to court.
