Londoners are best placed to decide, I’m sure they’ll make the correct decision whichever way they decide. They live there we don’t.

With 1 in 4 Londoners having faced actual violence or the threat of it in the last 12 months which is staggering statistic, I wouldn’t want to live there for free either.

They’re welcome to it but with the majority of the London population now being non white, maybe they’re used to it and are quite happy with the violence and social disorder and therefore they voted to continue with it.

I think it’s another illustration of where country is rapidly heading and that’s total social breakdown

I agree, I would hate to live in London, but who they chose as major is their choice. To make assumptions on their reasoning, or to judge them is a bit arrogant tbh.

    It’s not deliberately arrogant
It’s just an increasingly very dangerous city with a reckless person in charge who ticks none of my boxes and takes the mick out of his citizens
    No better than Rees here

We're down in Dorset for the weekend and got chatting with 2 white families who've moved to this area from the home counties.
'London is in England in name only, down here it's still England'.
    Their words not mine.

    'arrogant' ???
To vote for the likes of Khan or Ms Abbott is unfathomable !

Depends on your point of view, we’re all different. Yes I find it arrogant when people can’t see others may have differing opinions to their own.
I accept others have different opinions to me, I find it odd others don’t feel the same, to me that’s a major part of our demise as a nation. Having strong views is fine, but accept others are allowed to have equally strong, but opposing views. That’s the sign of a healthy democracy.

We’re a nation divided by a lack of common sense from the top, lack of national pride, laziness and the pure stupidity of a lot of the population

Have you ever considered people with your views are the stupid ones, whilst the others are more enlightened?

Not even considering you are wrong is dangerous, surely any intelligent person should consider all points of view, and sometimes change theirs over time as the facts change. Respect for people with differing views is what holds a democracy together. Calling people who disagree with you stupid is disrespectful and dangerous.

And who are you to say I haven’t considered all points of view already ?
Because I did, and I stand firmly by my comments

One reason I could never join a political party is because I couldn’t toe the party line with something that I strongly disagree with and is against my own principles.
The whips would be beating me up every 5 minutes.
No party has all the answers - and they are ALL slaves to their donors - without whom there would be no party at all. That means the Tories are beholden to seriously rich individuals who don’t want to pay tax, and the Labour Party is slave to the unions.
It’s how it works in this country.
