Just because one club spends the tenth biggest sum on players, does not mean that their team ought to finish 10th. If only it was that simple. All a billionaire needs to do is to buy a club and invest whatever 4th biggest sum (£50m-80m) and he's got a CL playing club.

This comparison of money spent v/s rank is hilarious. We do NOT need to have money tables to know that we (and the mancs) have underperformed.

I think the general "consensus" is that we are the 5th most expensive side. I mean look at our side, Lallana is the most expensive siging in the squad I think, and that's less than half what your biggest signing cost. Arsenal shelled out 70m for just Sanchez and ozil I think? That covers a chunk of our squad, Lallana Balo and Lovren Lambo and one other cheapo
