Who says the T20 blast can't live up to the IPL or big bash - over 450 runs in 40 overs.

Well played Chris Gayle, astonishing innings to end up on the losing side but well done spitfires for shooting another team down. Kent Kent Kent.

Southee is putting NZ into an unassailable position, a 60 run partnership in no time....England need the weather to help them now.

I just wonder if the rain is doing more of a favour to England or not...

With five sessions to bat [if it hadn't rained] there would have allowed the England batsmen to play their natural game. Who knows; with enough overs to actually score the runs, albeit a test record chase if it happened, it wouldn't be beyond the realms of fantasy. Fifth day wickets aren't the minefields they were back in the day and this looks like a really good pitch.

With the rest of the day now washed out there isn't enough time left for England to knock the runs off, which means a more defensive approach, allowing the kiwis to play more attacking fields. This will probably result in England being bowled out before tea tomorrow, losing by 200+ runs.

    Hope I'm wrong though <laugh>

Hopefully that's Bell dropped for the Ashes now. He has to rebuild his form before he gets back in the England side. Great player, but he's totally shot.
