or Rodgers has worked miracles with a shoot team <ok>

That was me and I stick by it (at least the first 11). Of your first team I would only put Coutinho in Southamptons team, I could make a case for Sturridge based on his form with Suarez but will be interested to see how he performs without that lift.[/QUOTE]

So you think Rodgers outperformed koemam?

No, three years into building his team he should finish more than two points above a manager who is new to the league and lost five of his first team before the season started <ok>

Not to mention the the endless favouarable refereeing decisions that Brendan's Liverpool have gotten !

How can they be part of his first team then?

[HASHTAG]#Fail[/HASHTAG], Is this the slogan for Liverpool's season I wonder ? It is certainly less cringey than the 'dare to dream' one of last year <laugh>

There's one for you lot for this season just gone. Now you have EL so expect to finish in 10th this season, if you are lucky.

Saints ambition over the last 6 years cannot be questioned, it has bred a level of success that has seen us soar to the heights of the once mighty Liverpool. No doubt we will leave you for dust next year though ! Thank you Brendan.

"bred a level of success that has seen us soar to the heights of the once mighty Liverpool". You mean soar to the heights that Liverpool plummeted to?

hardly heights at all, but I see you lot did suffer the old "expectation" problem and fell apart, expectation can do that.

Koeman is another Martinez

It all starts nicely because the players remember the training of the previous manager and record amounts of money is spent

Then once the new manager's methods sink in it's a straight nosedive to relegation form

Easier to go from league 1 to 7th than from 7th to Top 4.

That trend was apparent in the latter stage of this season, Koeman will continue his "success" this season, throw in a disasterous EL campaign and Saintsfan08 might be self harming by Jan 2016 and back to blaming us for taking his players

<laugh> There will be no more players going from Saints to Liverpool, it's a sideways move and I hear Lambert only moved to Pool for the countless ill earned Penalties. One thing is for sure Liverpool's capitulation at Stoke on the back of a horrendus campaign has marked the end of any ascendancy Liverpool had over Saints and with Liverpool on the slide and Saints on the up we could see Liverpool players moving to Saints to play 'at a higher level' next summer !

But if one team has a better first 11 and a better squad, what's the excuse for not finishing above another? Only other thing is the manager...
