Some times in football you have to be ruthless. You have to be able to judge a player on one season alone.
Thata the thing, now and then you have to take a risk on a player who looks like they have clear potential and ability.
ruthless and reckless are only separated by luck Afonso Alves Kezman Sahin Sheva Forlan Baros Falcao Di Maria Ozil's first season Veron Soldado Gervinho Bentley tonnes more being the first prem side to bite is riddled with gambles gone bad if you've got an established winning side it doesn't matter. But if you need it to pay immediate dividends then you may as well be betting the mortgage in vegas
I sort of agree with you on the not as sharp bit, actually. When I think back to what he was like at Real, he does seem a bit like Rooney in that regard. Still a good player with a good record but it feels like something isn't quite right physically with him and he's maybe a yard off what he used to be. I'd still back him over anyone bar Aguero & Costa in the PL though.
Im going to have to agree with the rest. I dont think higuains going to be a hit in the premier league. Hes not that quick or skillful and his one supposedly superb attribute is his finishing which even then i think that's hit and miss. I guess he does have a bit of a physical presence but hes just a standard solid player

As for milner... how dare he talk to arsenal!!! How dare he Imagine talking about sitting on the bench in a French club. I mean ok it's a small step up from that small club he is at but it's not a real super club is it

Going to be dark dark days for our club next year if we sign players like Ings. Only going backwards under Rodgers
When you think of closing the gap with the top 4 and competing for titles, the first players you think of are Ings, Milner and Benteke (!) Next season could go horribly wrong before it's even begun. Happy Monday everyone lol!
