FIFA's representational system is akin to the parliamentary nonsense the United Kingdom used prior to the 1832 Great Reform Act.

Rotten boroughs and political bribery which everyone saw but no one felt able to challenge.

Blatter's days are numbered, step forward a suitable Earl Grey.

Honestly I doubt anyone does anything. He can't probably run again he will be 83 when this term is over.

I wouldn't be so sure of that last bit. ****s like him and Mugabe seem to live forever. The only way to end tyranny is by putting a bullet between the tyrant's eyes.

For once, I would actually condone intervention by the CIA if they managed to make Blatter 'disappear'.

Nah. Darjeeling is better

The vote today is irrelevant, he's already finished, no matter what others in football do.

Justice will see him removed.

This was just a 'business as usual' show for the world.

The 30 or so speeches he made today, and a few little noticeable nuggets in them, showed a glimpse of the man's character;

Deluded, arrogant, thick-skinned, stubborn.

If some of football deserts him, he will get support from other buyable sources.

The US Department of Justice doesn't take bribes.

Slap headed toss pot.

I bet UEFA don't boycott, Platini is slimeball too.

All my faith is being pumped into the Stars & Stripes.

Looking forward to July the 4th. I'll be right there with 'em*

*In spirit. Not really, obviously. Can't afford it.

Unfortunately I can see UEFA backing off on this one!!!!
Why ??? Because of the very thing that's caused it, money
Apparently Spain voted for Blatter so I'm sure everyone paying Sky TV will be happy with them !! Not

All the rumours of who would quit should Blatter get the nod are not materialising at the moment. Will it take a day or two or has everyone already sold out

Shame the little man on the street couldn't boycott an Adidas or a Maccies to start the ball rolling.

The earliest we'd hear anything on the future of UEFA and FIFA would be June 6, as that is when the UEFA meeting is due to take place in Berlin, before the Champions' League Final.

The Allams should branch out into portable air conditioning units, they'd make a fortune.
Death Valley is horrible, every year a bunch of Eropean tourists die there, they go for a short hike and die. Aparantly they must not understand the name.

The Mojave Desert is pretty bad to he would make a fortune from Barstow alone, which is on the edge of the Mojave Desert, if you know people in Barstow actually had money.

I so want to see Blatter pushed onto a plane bound for New York.

Someone representing Brazil on the FIFA executive committee left before the vote today and got a plane back to Brazil. Rumours are the guy was fearing imminent arrest. Apologies if I missed someone else posting this earlier in the long thread.

Isn't Platini involved with Qatar getting the 2022 World Cup? That's what Channel 4 seemed to show yesterday on the news.
