If they do (Russia won't) have the majority not playing in the world cup the sponsors will surely topple and FIFA will have to change. British virgin isle's pop 50,000 get the same vote as all of the big European country's.

If that kind of coalition could really be formed - then it would work. There is no way FIFA could function without either a) some of those teams or b) the financial clout of some of those markets.

That's what they said to.

They said it would come down to UEFA that the other countries didn't want to set a precedent where people pulled out of a world governing body for football but if UEFA felt it had to be done then those other countries would go as well. It has already been discussed aparantly behind closed doors.
