Ok, so we know Rosenior isn't being offered a new deal for what ever reason, but can we read anything into the fact we don't know about the others yet?

Either the club or the player has leaked the information to the media today as there hasn't been the formal announcement of our retained/released list yet.

If it's the club, it presumably means the rest have been offered deals of some sort or the reports would be about more than one player.

If it's the player, I don't know why the club wouldn't have had them all in today to discuss things with them, and if there's several players not being offered new deals is there a reason the others wouldn't be leaking it at the same time so that other clubs are aware of their availability?

I imagine we'll know those who havent been offered a new deal in the coming week to allow them to look elsewhere. I would assume no news means a deal is at least on the table.

Who needs facts and official announcements when we have Twitter and agendas?

Just wondering if the lack of information about the others was down to something I'd missed or if it was a sign there was an offer either on the table or talks going on. Not necessarily meaning the player would sign it, they could be considering options, but with some of them it would be good to know that there was at least something being offered.

As I said on the other thread, I think the lack of information is poor under the circumstances.

I think Macca is off, regardless of whether City offer him a deal. That in turn might make Bruce Jnr staying more likely. I really hope Quinn signs, but I'm not optimistic. Every club in the Championship should be hassling his agent.
